2 Finger Salute

aka "2 Finger" or "2FS"

The AlgoBox™ 2 Finger Salute is an indicator based trading strategy that is specifically designed for range bar charts.

Example of a Loose Up 2 Finger Salute (bullish).

The 2 Finger Salute indicator detects a 2-bar pattern using proprietary algorithmic criteria.

Example of a Loose Down 2 Finger Salute (bearish).

The only range bar charts in the default AlgoBox™ workspaces are the Tide and Wave charts, which are the highest "time frame" sized charts of the AlgoBox™ system. Since the 2 Finger Salute is designed only for range bar charts, it is not recommended as an entry strategy by itself.

Example of a Moderate Up 2 Finger Salute (bullish).

The 2 Finger Salute indicator is designed to be used in conjunction with the Order of Operations process to guide market bias direction and targets for your trading analysis.

Example of a Moderate Down 2 Finger Salute (bearish).

The 2 Finger Salute automatically plots suggested potential levels for Target 1, Target 2 and Target 3.

Example of a Super Up 2 Finger Salute (bullish).

The two green lines represent Target 1 and Target 2, and the red line represents Target 3.

Example of a Super Down 2 Finger Salute (bearish).

There are 3 levels of 2 Finger Salute strength: -Loose -Moderate -Super

With a Super 2 Finger Salute, aiming for the red line (Target 3) may provide a higher probability of hitting than aiming for Target 3 with a Loose 2 Finger Salute.
