# Diamond Dott

Although the Diamond Harmonic can be the weakest harmonic pattern on its own, when paired with a [FibDot](https://docs.algoboxpro.com/fundamentals/fibellidott) of matching direction, the whole can be more powerful than the sum of its parts.

The optimal location for a stop loss on a Diamond Dott is behind the FibDot.

The FibDot color does not matter & does not have to match the color of the Diamond - go with the color (direction) of the FibDot.

For Diamond Dotts where the FibDot directional bias does not match the Harmonic bias, [stop loss placement](https://docs.algoboxpro.com/essential-tips-and-techniques/4-types-of-stop-losses) is also ideally behind the FibDot.
