Chart Trader Enhancements

The AlgoBox™ Button Panel

Upgrade your NinjaTrader Chart Trader panel with the AlgoBox™ Button Panel for superb functionality. It adds 6 additional buttons that allow you to manage your positions with a click of the mouse.

Here are the standard NinjaTrader order entry buttons, including Buy Limit Orders, Sell Limit Orders, Close all and Trade Reversal.

1) The Bracket button gives you the option to add targets and stops to any order placed without an ATM strategy.

2) The Add Stop button automatically adds a stop loss to naked orders, which is set to 30 ticks by default.

3) The Naked button removes targets and stops, leaving only your trade open (and your risk!).

The AlgoBox™ Button Panel includes Bracket, Add Stop, Naked, Flatten, Half and Double.

4) The Flatten All button closes all trades and orders on all instruments.

5) The Half button closes half the trade, for example, if you have 4 contracts running and you want to take half the profit and let the other half run, this would close 2 contracts, leaving the other 2 still running.

6) The Double button allows you to double the contract size your current trade by adding the same number of orders to your existing position.

The Naked and Double buttons are for experienced users/traders only.

Hotkeys

Hotkeys can offer potentially faster execution than point & click with using the mouse. The AlgoBox™ Button Panel offers hotkeys by default. Click on your chart, press CTRL + i to enter Indicators configuration window:

The Button Panel can be used with the assigned hotkeys for quicker and more efficient trading.

Always be sure to activate (click on) the chart you want the hotkeys to take action with, prior to using the hotkeys, otherwise you risk potentially changing orders on a different instrument in error or the hotkeys not working the moment you need them to work.
